Do most of you folks realize that the MAJORITY of ATM run on OS/2 - "
backbones",
or so I've heard ?? !!!

And EVEN though MS has hired away the VMS core team to do the "next/latest" rev
of NT (wow - what cutting edge technology... although at LEAST MS will get some
folks that understand an OS...) the HEART of the "current" NT is STILL OS/2 !!

Last year we were loading NT Workstation 4.0 on a notebook. Loaded OK but
"croaked" when installing/configuring a PCMCIA card and "low and behold" it
starts "belching" OS/2 error messages !!!!!

And this, coming from me, typing away on my Toshiba notebook running NT... :-)
