I'm not sure yet how the Code/400 developers will handle
the new CF-Spec. But, SEU would have a new prompt type.
Still one line at a time, though. But since you'd have
a larger area to code your statements, more calcs would
not have to spill over onto multiple lines.

Based on my own experience so far, I would expect that
prompting would not be used as much as with the fixed-
format specs. In fact, syntax checking seems to work
better without prompting since the cursor is positioned
directly to the location of the error on the line.
Whereas with prompting, it seems that the cursor just
gets positioned to the beginning of the entry in error.

Anyways, while I do appreciate the interest in the new
CF-Spec, please remember that it's still a long ways
off. And even if we could GA that release today, since
most programmers have to support older machines, most
still wouldn't get to use this feature (and other neat
new stuff) for years!

Cheers! Hans (getting back to work on the CF-Spec)
