Dan,

As far as a product that allows you to move a spoolfile to a PC, try
Solution400, http://www.solution400.com, contact is Spencer or Dorren. You can
store a spool file in the product and perform the follwoing: FTP, email, send
to another 400, send to Mainframe, send to IFS and then view through explorer,
etc. or they also have a client add on.

Subject: Need a COMPARE utility and spool saver

A manager at my present site is looking for a COMPARE utility to compare
both source and data files. We are using a 'non-matched' query at this
time. Is there anything inside OS/400?

Another request was for a methid of saving spool files, either to a PC,
tape or maybe CD. Also, ths ability to view a spoolfile on a PC (without
an AS/400 connection) would be an integral part of the solution.

Dan Rasch - because if the human species concentrated on the really
important things in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles!
