There is a limit to the number of fields one can put on a display. The DDS
manual says that there is a limit of 4095 displayable fields. The
Application Display Programming manual says that the maximum number of input
capable fields is 256, but can be reduced depending on several uncommon
factors. The manual also says that you'll get a CPF5192 when the limit is
exceeded.
