Good point-"general training" is much too broad.  You should see some of
the responses I've received already!   Areas I am looking for are:
-       System overview (Terminology, Objects, Work Management, Spool
file manipulation, etc.)
-       Query 
-       DB2 concepts

        Systems Imp. has been around a long time... They helped my prior
employer
        with the switch from the S/3 to the /38.  We had some training
here in
        Albany in the last year or so and all who attended spoke highly
of the
        classes (Entry-level RPG 400).  There are several listers who
give classes,
        too.

        If I may stick my nose in where it doesn't belong, be careful
about asking
        for something like "general training."  You should have a clear
idea as to
        the specific tasks you want your trainees to be able to perform:
do you want
        beginning level programmers?  Advanced operators?  Help desk?
If you have
        clear requirements, the trainer can focus on what your shop
needs and
        dispense with the less important stuff.
