× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I have the same problem.  After several attempts I ended up with a combination
of the two solutions that you mentioned.  I have All upper case name file and
address fill with key info that is used in daily processing and I use an on the
fly routine to match and load for new business.  This seems to be the less
memory intensive solution that I can find.  It's not perfect but is the best we
have come up with so far.
