RE: Copy AS/400 file to an Excel file

To all who responded to my question about copying an AS/400 database
file to an Excel file, I'm sorry I wasn't more clear.  I realize there
are a number of AS/400 solutions for copying to a text or delmited type
file.  What I'm looking for is a TRUE Excel file (BIFF4 or BIFF5
format), the type that Client Access download function can create.

I already use the CPYTOIMPF command but am not at all happy with it.  It
doesn't give any control over formatting.  And, it you happen to have
commas or double quotes in the data which you're copying (such as an
item description), CPYTOIMPF doesn't handle them correctly.
