Unusual circumstance Paul. Two months ago my supervisor who had 5 years of
experience on the AS/400 left. When this occured the VP of IS chose to
make me report to the PC and Network System Manager. Needless to say
I have an altercation just about everyday on certain aspects. He is going to
pull the token-ring backbone out. There will be no way to use the token-ring
then, unless we could use it for SNA. Anyway, he will never buy it. It's
got to
be his way or no way and I see him pushing the AS/400 out of the door when
he gets the first chance. It's hard reporting to someone who know very little
about the AS/400.
