Is the source in the back of the book by chance? Or on a CD/Diskette that
came with it?

It is apparently comes from a Jan '98 Article form Midrange Computing.

Subject: FWDPGMMSG ?

I am learning CL programming the hard way, by fire. I have gathered several
books and have been trying various things out, exploring if you will. On to
the point...

I am trying a CL program from "Complete CL" by Ernie Malaga. It calls for a
FWDPGMMSG command that I don't seem to be able to locate. Has anyone heard
of this one? I am sure I am just overlooking something.

What I am trying to "build" is a program to that checks to see if another
job has finished. If there is a easier way to do this, those comments would
also be appreciated. I thought I saw a thread on this some time back, but
failed in my search of the archives.

TIA,
