According to an IBM handout attributed to a Gartner Group report in Nov. 1998,
the unplanned outages reported in number of hours per server per year were:

AS/400    5.2 hours
S/390 (non-Sysplex clustered)    8.9 hours
Unix        23.6 hours
Win NT    224.5 hours
