I haven't seen any problems restoring database files from RISC to CISC
machines.  Remember that you can move data in many ways - TCP/IP, SNADS,
SAVOBJ, CPYF, CPYTOTAP, File Transfer Support, even Windows Explorer!  The
data contained in the database is basically platform independent (assuming
all platforms can read packed/binary fields!)
