You can't teach something that student's don't want to learn (or attend). 
 "RPG isn't cool".  In fact, the trend is that IT isn't that cool anymore.

It still amazes me that although the AS/400 is a very popular midrange
business system all around the world, many non AS/400 people still have
not even heard of it, or RPG.

Do IBM need to raise the profile of this magical system or what?

How many colleges/universities actually teach RPG
