system was working great before handed
over to me on another type of  terminal(not a 3197)--I only have a 3197 and
no other spare terminal 
and AS/400 has no ethernet card to hook up a PC to at this point in time.
I cant of course unplug main terminal and start going throught all the
eight ports and address"s etc because the golden rule is 'you must always
have the main system consule at port 0 address 0" so if this is happening
below Im in real trouble
