Telnet problem



Hi,

we have a customer with an S30 running OS/400 V4R3. They cannot start
Telnet service. TCP/IP and other services (FTP, POP etc.) run fine. We've
tried STRTCPSRV *TELNET. We get a message that telnet has started, but this
is not the case: QTGTELNETS should be active in QSYSWRK, but there's no
trace of it. There are no signs of malfunction on the job log.
Have somebody experienced a similar problem before?
