Now this is out of my memory only (was it 1983 - my very first twinax
attached printer on s/38): I THINK, that the address is fixed, but was it
0 or 7? I think zero. Also it had to be the last device on the string.

But maybe I'm all wrong.

No harm is done if you try: Create the device with all of the adresses in
turn (keep the session so you can do a F9 to have another try). Or try to
change sysval to autoconfig *YES before you turn it on (preferable at a
time where it is not likely that too many users turn on their twinax
devices).
