The user who would do the transfer each day is on WIN95, I am on WIN98 and
the win98 PC is the one that the hyperterminal transfer was created on.
Each PC is using its own moden which is not the same manufacturer.

By IFS I mean a folder on our AS/400 network drive that the user is mapped
to.

I created a shortcut to the folder on the user's desktop with the full path
name in the command & working dir boxes.

This is a long term project, they use it everyday. I also have similar
programs set up for our Direct Deposit transfer, and receiving our Bank
reconcilliation and have not had any problems there--- Yet. These are not
used daily but the Direct Deposit is used weekly.

We were hoping not to have to buy any software to do this. It seems like
everything you need to accomplish is another software package! The bank
said when we changed this application from Telex for Y2K that we could use
Hyperterminal, Procomm, or PC Anywhere. We do have PC Anywhere, that would
just be buying another copy of that.
