Dear Mr. Helms,
I will say upfront that I am an employee of Lakeview Technology, and therefore I am bias, but in reading your message, I believe we have a product that you should consider. Lakeview is the developer of MIMIX, a software suite for availability management. For more than 10 years now, MIMIX has been proven to be the most reliabe solution for high availability & disaster recovery plans for the IBM AS/400. I'd encourage you to visit our website to find out more about planning properly for a disaster recovery solution. There is a detailed white paper on "Availability Strategies for the AS/400" which you can view at http://www.lakeviewtech.com/news/white.html. If you'd like more information, please feel free to contact me directly.
Sincerely,
Julie Erkenswick

Subject: Backup and Recovery

Hi,

Anyone got any suggestions for Backup and Recovery software.  Currently, we have a home
grown application that is slowly becoming trouble.  At one point we were looking at BRMS.
If anyone has any praise or compaints about BRMS or other software please reply.  Also,
a big hello to all the Midranger's I met at Common.
