Greetings to everyone on the list. My first time posting after following
quitely for some time.

Have a situation where we'd like to bring a leased line circuit into a
customer's AS400. This customer's user base uses PC's to TN5250 into their
400. This connection into their 400 will terminate on my company's IBM MVS
mainframe. Customer will be able to setup the line as a 3270 connection and
make it accessible to their user base as a remote system.

Question I have is - from the user perspective, if they are a 5250 session to
the 400 which is then starting a 3270 session - which keyboard layout is in
effect? Would they be using 3270 keys, or have to enter the 5250 key that
corresponds to the 3270 key?

Any help is appreciated. thanks much.
