  • Subject: How did I do this? Record Format name on SRC-PF?

I'm stumped.

I created a source physical file named SPLHTML. Somehow it got a record
format name of SPLHTMLSRC. I didn't realize this until I had an RPG
application on another machine that read from this source physical file.
When I compiled I got an error because I didn't rename the record format.
On the new machine I created the src-pf and the record format name is the
same as the file name, which is what I expected.

So, how in the world did I get a record format name of SPLHTMLSRC on the
first machine? Anyone? Bueler? This is a source physical file, not a
physical file.
