    One quick recommendation. If you are going to crawl through the registry
then check out this product;

    Best !!!  Registry editor I have found, and it has a very reasonable
price tag, and great support.  Only issue I had was a back level version of
the COMCTL32.DLL and they sent me the current one (Also available at
www.microsoft........)
