I thought so, too. In fact, I thought that AS/400 sales surpassed mainframe
sales last year. Does this mean bad reporting or that total system sales now
account for less than 10% of IBM's revenue? Lies, damn lies, and statistics
I say! IBM's DASD, PC's, mainframes, and MarketFinity machines certainly
haven't exceeded total AS/400 and RS/6000 sales. Despite my gripe at COMMON,
MarketFinity had another full page ad in "USA Today" last week with nothing
for the AS/400. Is MarketFinity a low cost machine or not??!!

Forget the trade shows, what about those folks looking for an e-business
solution that IBM refers to an NT rep? ERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
