Could you expand?  Do you have "stars" where you're at?  Do they receive
comperable "rewards" for a job well done?  

Do you say this because the others who aren't pulling their weight get
frustrated seeing others receive these rewards?  Is "going the extra mile"
simply a point of view?  Is working smart not worth it in the long run?
