Diana,
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, what release and what cum are you
at? There are a number of PTF's related to TCP/LAN print:
V4R1 - SF50932, SF52880, SF51543, SF53090
V4R2 - SF53791, SF52837, SF51170, SF54212
V4R3 - SF51551, SF51746

We have had similar problems to your first. I have not applied the PTF's yet
but that is my first step.

Subject: Intermittent problems with printing to IP connected printers

We are experiencing two intermittent problems with our IP connected
printers.

The first is spool files occasionally go to a PND status and never prints.
Other print jobs to the same printer submitted later print even though the
one stays in PND. I've tried stopping and restarting the printer as well as
putting the spool file on hold and releasing it. It just stays in printer
limbo.

The second problem is the CPA403D "Operator action required on device" error
message. It always occurs on the last page number in the spool file and all
the pages have printed. Also, it holds up all the other spool files for
that printer until the message is answered. It does not happen all the time
either.

Does anyone know how to resolve these problems or even why they occur?
