The CALIP (I think that is the right abbreviation) is a computer aptitude
test. In part it tests how much you know, but mostly it determines whether
or not the way you think and reason are compatible to the computer industry.
The Wunderlik(sp?) test is a problem solving test that is used extensively
by many companies. There have been other apprentices here who could not
make the transition to being a programmer. There is a definite correlation
between the test scores and the success levels. It has helped us create
some firm minimum test scores that must be reached before any consideration
is made as to one's acceptance into our training program.

What are the CALIP and Wunderlik tests?
