                Subject: ILE - Date Substraction

                Hello All,
We have a set of statments in
RPG/400, which
basically takes the last report date and calculate
exaclty one month
before. Its now kind of more messed up with all Y2K
changes. Though it
works fine, since I converted those to
RPGLE, I was just wondering , if I can use ILE and
make it simple with
                few statements

For example if Last Report date
Result date
                                                     1.
5.31.98
                4.30.98
                                                     2.
3.31.98
                2.28.98
                                                     3.
7.15.98
                6.15.98

Now, is there anyway , we can use in ILE, like SUBDUR
to find out
exactly one month before from a given date.

Like If the given date is 5.31.98 which should
give 4.30.98

                Any help is greatly appreciated

                Thanks

                Regards
                Raj
