I am getting ready to go to V4R3 in a few weeks, from V3R7.

I perm. applied my PTF's the other week and IPL'ed. I see that
all my PTF's are perm. applied. However, I still see that I am
running on the "B" side. I thought that the "B" side disappeared
when there were no Temp. PTF's (I have no idea where I got this
assumption).

Does the "B" side only exist when there are Temp. PTF's?

Does the *Panel value change to "A" when all PTF's are *PERM
applied? Maybe this is why I have found my system to be running
on the "A" side after Perm. applying my PTF's. ( I use to just do a
PWRDWNSYS *IMMED RESTART(*YES) IPLSRC(*PANEL), where
now I use "B" as my IPLSRC)
