David,

I will let you know that I am more than pissed at you when I received
this message. I will remain professional about this and explain myself.
I have gone through the manufacturer of organ. I have contacted people
at IBM-Rochester. I have contacted locations in my area that used to
have keypunch machines. I had no luck. I then turned to probably the
best resource that is available to me, the midrange-l mailing list.

I thought the purpose of this mailing list is to provide a resource for
midrange user to seek assistance. Furthermore, the AS/400 has the
largest number of installations than any other computer system. I
believe I qualify as a midranger as well as any other subscriber to this
list. I have worked on the System 3, 32, 34, 36, and 38. I was lucky
enough to help beta the Silver Lake as the AS/400 was called back then.

Furthermore, was there one AS/400 command mentioned in any of the
disgruntled employee thread? I don't think so. Why was this subject
allowed to continue? Because the question were directed at the knowledge
of the people that subscribe to this list. The same goes for my
question. I was directing my question at the knowledge possessed by the
people that make this list great.

By the way, thanks for not telling me that my subject was banned from
the list. I found out this fact from others that I have recommended to
subscribe to this list.

I would like to thank those of you that have assisted me in the past
with the card question and the other question that I have had over the
last few years. I would like to thank you, David, as well. Without the
other lists that you have setup, I would not be at my current place of
employment.

I am sorry for wasting resouces for this subject. I will be
unsubscribing to this list later in the day.

Sincerely,

Nick Mart

Unless you need to convert some 80 column cards to the AS/400, please do
not bring up blatantly off-topic subjects on MIDRANGE-L.

Thanks!
