if you are sending files, you can save them as cpytotap and restore as
cpyfrmtap.  or save them as 36 files, using the savs36f command.  then they are
release independent.  use rst36f to restore them.

if you are sending programs, you can rename your souce file to qs36src (or prc)
and save using the savs36libm command.

of course, you'll have to recompile everything anyway.
