I use both constantly.  I can remember when I only used SNADS.  What I
am saying is that more and more, there is no SNADS.  Technical ability
and superiority do not determine what protocol, language or even OS get
used in the business world.  And whether you like it or not, the "does
it really work" test is not being applied properly.  Witness the
operating system that most of us are using to view and respond to these
messages.
