Adding ILE  is another layer. 
Preping for ILE might not be if done in the correct sequence.

There is both good  and  risk in doing this now.
Where you are in the Y2K project, data  quality and fit to new data types/
date handling and how much new change is introduced into the project. Can
your plans/resources  handle  this n schedule? IF not then What?
