Isn't this really a symptom of the vastness and unmanageability of IBMs
structure? Each division of IBM has it's own website but very little overlap
with another division. We might complain about AS400 stuff but I'll bet
every other non-AS400 user might have similar complaints.
Let's face it; if we had to go out and get ALL technical specs for our home
or work pc's devices and software interfaces to make them work, we'd be at
it for a long time. How many of us have the correct and latest RFC's for
TCPIP downloaded? How about the drivers/hardware specs for every single I/O
device? Do we all have the latest BIOS specs for the motherboards?
This is our business; rather than whining about it, do something about it.

I contend that IBM's web sites are often nearly impossible to navigate for
