We use Telex Fax/400, and it really is a nice package. Users can fax
reports directly from the 400, by selecting the spool file. Or send message
faxes, or just a message to another user within the company. We also send
some of our spool files thru ACOM to make them "look pretty" and then fax
them. We needed to send the output to and output queue when ACOM is done
with it, and the fax software has a monitor set up to check this outq, and
fax it. The number must appear on the document you are faxing, or you can
set up a file for it to read to know where to fax to. We did run into
trouble with ACOM faxing at first because it reformats it and sends fonts to
the printer before the actual spool file, so a mod did have to be made by
the Telex people to watch for this.
