Brad,

First, the disclaimer: I work for Cornerstone Communications and am
the primary architect of Fax Server/401.

Fax Server/401 from Cornerstone Communications (www.faxserver401.com)
works quite well with EzPrint from Formula One Systems.

Another good PCL forms generation package is flashForm400 from
Formation MG if you are looking for alternatives. I know that they
also have a GUI design tool. Also, one of FMG's developers hangs out
on the Midrange-L list.

We also handle the PC world quite well.

To see our Windows client, goto www.faxserver401.com/download.htm .
This will let you download a copy of our TCP/IP Windows Client
(supports Win95/98/NT). After you install and run the client (which
will take you thru a registration process), you will then have a
windows printer called "Fax Server 401". Anything you print to that
printer will be faxed via the Internet. This Demo is actually the
real thing that we ship to customers, but has a few minor restrictions
built in (such as what system you connect to). And it sends real
faxes.

And I know that several of our customers hang out on Midrange-L. They
can give you an un-biased opinion of both our product & support.

If you would like more information, please call Jeff at 317-802-0107
Ext 106 or Email me privately - bob@cstoneindy.com .

Regards,
Bob Crothers

Subject: AS/400 forms generation and faxing - Opinions...

Hello.

I recently started a new job as IT project leader. I am familiar with
working with EZPrint and FastFax. EZPrint for forms generation
(without
needing an IPDS printer) and using FastFax to easily fax these
documents.

Does anyone out there have any experience or opinions on similar
products?
I like EZPrint's Gui interface, report downloading, etc. There's got
to be
more like this.

Also, we're moving to a 170 so the fax card is going away. We are
also
looking for a new fax system that will work with PC faxes and the
AS/400. I
know FastFax works with the AS/400, and probably works with PC faxes
too,
but it's a little spendy. Any other opinions on similar products?

Thanks guys!
