Hey, try a stint at a pharmaceutical company!  Last time I did over three
years ago, it was estimated that it cost $60KUS+ to change one character in
one line of code that was part of an FDA-validated system!  Even consultants
and contractors get handed a black pen to sign off on stuff if they don't
bring one with them -- blue ink is unacceptable...
