Capturing QSYSOPR will work, although may be problematical.  There is a
good example of coding for achieving a restricted state in the program
QMNSAVE in QSYS.  The program is done in CL, and is retrievable.  Caution:
This is not CL 101, it is a heavy program, but it shows excellent coding
technique.
