Another thing that I find useful is to display the sizes of all the
journal receivers in the system.
Investigate the ones with many entries (or large in size). Then change
the journal using *GEN to autogenerate the next journal receiver and
delete the old one.

I recently did that and manage to get back 2G of space! 
(Found out then that the system value for accounting QACGLVL was somehow
set to *PRINT and no cleanup done for over a year..)
