  • Subject: STRQMQRY OUTPUT(*PRINT) creating PF QPQXPRTF!
  • From: "Robert Meade" <robert_meade@xxxxxxx>

I am experiencing an inexplicable problem. Can anyone help?
On one (and only one) of my user profiles, whenever I STRQMQRY...
OUTPUT(*PRINT), system program QSYS/QDDCPF (called by QSYS/QCZFOPEN) creates
file QPQXPRTF in library MEADE! 2 steps later, when the query attempts to print
the results, it bombs off, saying QPQXPRTF is not a print file. This happens
whether I use the STRQMQRY command, or use option 9 Run in QMQRY Manager. Has
anyone heard of such a thing?
It is only occurring on one of my profiles, so I assume is has something to do
with my profile definition, but I have not made any recent changes to it, and do
not know what is triggering this.
Any help or pointers in solving this you can provide would be much appreciated!
