can anyone help me in the following

1) I want to edit my RPG-400 code in my pc and then upload it to my
AS400 library.What are the steps involved (please give details).

2) Is there any free software that I can download for
       a)  For editing code on a pc
       b)  Syntax check for RPG code edited on a pc
       c)  compiler for rpg code in a pc.
