The simplest way to create a table is to use CRTTBL command with *PROMPT
for SRCFILE parameter and some existing table for BASESRTSEQ.

Subject: ALTSEQ

Hello

I need to create a alternate collating sequence table to use with the
ALTSEQ keyword in a logical file. The DDS manual talks about a CRTTBL
command to create the table. When I try the CRTTBL command it needs a
source member. I have no idea what to put in the source member.

I basically want to treat lower case characters as upper case for
purposes of creating a logical view of a physical file with some fields
which contains lowercase characters.

Please tell me where to look for this information. I can't seem to find
anything on the AS/400 bookshelf on the web.
