I'm waiting for the backlash myself.  Some day maybe they'll all wake up
and look at how big their MIS departments are getting and how many
different software packages they are implementing and managing... how
many interfaces they have to babysit... and wish they had stuck with the
AS/400 and kept it simple.

Just my opinion... but then again "progress" continues in spite of
itself.

I would love to hear what other people think about this since I am just
a young pup and my (perhaps biased) opinions are still in their
formative years.

while the discussion focus on VB and RPG, I can't help but wonder
that it will be inevitable as the industry changes that one needs
to move on to embrace other 'solutions' like Java.
