Gord,

You should be able to access the PC cd-rom from the as/400 as an IFS
directory structure using NFS and MOUNT. However, I don't thinks this will
allow you to use in like an AS/400 cd-rom drive on sav/rst type commands.

No, it was more a question of can it be done.  Why bother copying the files
if my CD can be treated as a peripheral of the AS/400.  I've already taken
the CD over to the computer room so it's a moot point.
