Unfortunately this program is written to handle any file, so we simply
override the internally defined file and set LVLCHK(*NO).

The file is then defined as a bunch of 256 character fields for the
maximum record length ... those fields are then broken apart
programmatically.

Use the external description and (if you need to redefine the field
structure) use the record format as an externally described data
structure
and put your "I specs" in there.
