Anything that does not contribute $$$ to IBM's bottomline will ever be 
supported.  IMHO.

     Seems like IBM could host some pages for you..... After all, IBM 
     does have some stake in the success of the AS400. I'd think it 
     would be in their best interest to support this forum. Online books 
     are very valuable, but access to some of the finest minds in the 
     industry and the collective experience of the folks here make this 
     an invaluable resource.

The problem with services like that (geocities, aol, etc), is that you
can't just link to them... they want the URL space... in addition, often
they put a watermark or popup window up on entry... I can't tollerate that.
