Chris,

Can you use a message subfile in your DSPF? Then you can use API
QMHSNDPM to send messages from your RPG. You will not have to declare a
message file in your DDS. Two of the parms required by the send message
API are the message file name & the library name. This will help you
control which message file is used at run time.
