        Subject: Printer file problem

        Hi

I have got a problem with printer file. The problem started when I
tried
to print a single report with two program.

Consider a situation where I need to print Header, 2 messages and
detail
        records.

PGM1 prints the Header and Detail records and PGM2 (Utility program)
        will print the messages.

A temporary printer file is declared in PGM2, which is overridden to
the
original printer file PRTF1 that is used by PGM1, before being
opened in
        PGM2.

The result was 2 spool files were generated. First spool file was
generated by PGM1 and the second one by PGM2. The first had only
Headed
and Detail and the second with the Messages only.

But, my requirement is Header, Message and Detail should be in the
same
        spool file (PRTF1).

        Seeking help on this issue.

        Thanx in advance.
        Shiva.
