RE: File transfer from AS/400 received garbage.

Maybe it would be easier to transfer the file to the IFS or a folder.  Use
QSYS/QASCII as the translation table.

Or... (shareware push)
use SPLTOOL (Spooled File Tools) and this will all be automated for you.  :)
