Initialize the tape on the /36, then use S36E commands to save the
members to tape. I haven't done this on Advanced/36, but had to for
     5362 (I think) and Y10.

Subject: File transfer from AS400 to Advance/36 box

I am having a issue trying to transfer info via tape to a advanced/36
     box running ssp.

I have tried running a SAVE command on the AS400 in the sys36
environment, but the AS400/Advanced 36 comes up with a error to errect
that the datafile is not a copyfile type.

What I need to be able to accomplish is take source/procedures from
the AS400 back down to the ADvance/36 box to put into production...

any ideas out there... I am very new on the AS400 side, but have lots
of exp on the s/36 environment
