you are correct!  in fact, we had to do some serious thinking about that!

for p/c's we used windows, not because we loved bill gates, but it was where 
the market was headed. our good buddy mark kliene at mccoy tried to get us to 
go to os/2, but since we are a software vendor, we felt we needed to stay with 
windows.  but i did feel some pangs of envy when mark would brag to us that his
p/c's didn't crash.

for a client server solution, we eventually chose asna's visual rpg, because at 
the time, ibm's required os/2.  deep down os/2 would have been my choice, but 
we decided to stay with the market.

and now os/2 has been pitched.  but on reflection, my opinion is that ibm blew 
it with their os/2 warp add campaign.  if i didn't know what it was, i would 
have thought it was a video game!  they should have targeted a more adult 
audience, and stressed how it didn't crash, etc.
