I've noticed several people mention setting up accounts for your kids.  If 
you've
set up UGMA accounts, keep in mind when your child reaches 18, the money is
theirs to do with as they please. This may be true of the new Education IRA's
also.   They can do what they want  with it.... New Porche, lots of Jack 
Daniels,
that trip to Belize,  take all their friends to Mexico for a month, whatever.

If your goal is education, you might consider an investment vehicle you can
maintain control of.  You just never know what's in the future.
