First, MSVC v2.0 is quite a bit down level. Version 6.0 is the
current release. I would recommend you upgrade to that before going
to far. Besides, there has been a lot of slick stuff added to MSVC
since v2.

As far as your problem, is the user that signed on when starting the
Client Access router (aka: the "common" user ID) CMILLER? It could be
that you are not authorized to view the CMILLER spool file.

We're trying to get started using the CA API's to display a spooled
file.
We're trying to integrate the displayed spool file within our own
apps.
We've installed the toolkit and compiled the list spooled file sample
code
(LSTSPLF) which runs and brings up the list of spooled files. When
Wwe
double click on one, we get the following error:

1314: Unable to open file! "QPJOBLOG/461/QPRTJOB/019150/CMILLER/"

This was compiled with MSVC++ 2.0

Several questions:
Has anyone else used these APIs?
Does the compiler we used make a difference?
Where can we go for better documentation than the CA400/W95 tech ref
manual?
